Actually I think they're part llamas and part dogs (not my species so I'm not 100% sure).
But it's true that they look like deers in my style. xD It's even how I used to draw my deer character. 8D ;;; I think it's the ears and muzzles~ (and obviously the hooves).

Shirts look fine, and I love the poses and coloring.

Like you said yourself, when you showed me, it was like something was missing on the inked version, and the colors really brought those missing details out well <3 ^^
I really like how you drew her characters in your style, I think that's a wonderful thing about trades, to see characters, in other peoples styles. ^^ They look really adorable.
I don't think the coloring came out bad though D: not even on the shirts like you said XD and backgrounds with random shapes and colorings works out just fine! ^^ I think that helps to keep focus on the characters, instead of having the BG steal some of that, if it was detailed XD so it works out very nicely! :3
